Backlog Of Medical Examiners Causes Pain

The State of Maryland has a serious problem on their hands no one is talking about, the lack of medical examiners which is causing backlogs to perform autopsies. Which results in more grief for families as they have to wait even longer, to put their loved one's to rest.

Such is the case for the family of Jarrod Jones, he unexpectedly passed on February 8th. Since then the Medical examiner's office has not yet released his body to his family. Or even communicated on a estimated timeline, so they can make the proper arrangements to lay him to rest. His family comments they don't even know where his body is currently located.

His family has grown so frustrated with the process they launched an online petition to hold everyone from the examiners office to the Governer accountable.
