As the delta variant and vaccine-resistant lambda variant of the COVID virus continue to spread, many are wondering what the fall season will look like for Marylanders and citizens all over the world.
"We're certainly concerned. Fall is around the corner, kids are going back to school and, unfortunately, a lot of people have let their guards down and not enough people are fully vaccinated," said Bob Atlas, president and CEO of the Maryland Hospital Association. "We have one of the highest vaccination rates in the country, and yet, we really need to get many more people vaccinated in order to really be safe."
