Good news keeps rolling in for Morgan State University. The school was recently awarded a $7.5 million grant by the Department of Defense. The funds will be used to build a center for advanced electro-photonics. The grant is the first of it's kind for a HBCU. This new development will only increase Morgan's already stellar stature as the school to attend for engineering and technology endeavors.
